Over the past few years we have supported nearly 100 pupils of St. Bridget's School, helping them with things like
and many other areas of Future Education!
Did You Know?
~St. Bridget's Educational Trust was founded in the 1880s~
~When St. Bridget's School was the only institution of primary education in the parish, the Trust provided a house for the schoolmaster~
~Eventually the Trust invested in another house which was sold in 1986.~
~The capital from that sale is now invested and, in recent years, produced an annual income of approximately £2000!~
~The Charity Commission supervises the Trust and allows disbursement of the annual interest.~
~During the last few years it has given away over £18000 in grants, ranging from £12 to over £1000!~
Are You Eligible?
~The Trust promotes the education, including social and physical training, of former pupils of St Bridget's School who are under the age of 25~
recent grants have been around £250
~Also The Trust can help people (of any age) who reside in the parishes of St. Bridget, West Kirby (including Caldy) and St. Michael's & All Angels, Newton with Religious Education projects.~
